This app is horrible. The forecast is not accurate even on that day. The radar shows clear skies while I am sitting in a torrential down poor. After about 20 minutes the app updates to tell me I have an hour of rain left, and the radar still hasn't updated. Meanwhile, I have other weather apps notifying me that rain or any inclement weather is approaching. there are some features I like but highly suggest you find a different app.

I really don't like this update, and it seems like most people agree with me. It's so much harder to read with each metric being in a differently shaped thing instead of a simple list. It's unintuitive and ugly. Why would you get rid of the frog and replace it with big shapes everywhere?? It takes me forever to find the information I was looking for. The design of the app DID NOT need to change. I hate that Google always tries to fix things that aren't broken.

It's fine, I guess, but I find it frustrating how much space the widget takes up for how little it actually displays. There's plenty of room to display Celsius and Fahrenheit simultaneously but that option isn't provided. If they add it and optimize the screen space usage I'd consider a better rating

It's mostly fine, but this thing where it keeps asking me to update my permissions to give it a more precise location has to go away. It's weather. You don't need to know where I am within 10 feet or 100 feet or 1000 feet of my real location, and it is exceedingly invasive to keep pushing this obviously unnecessary level of location tracking. One of many increasingly invasive features that make me want to leave Android altogether.

I used to find this app really useful until it stopped picking up my current location a few weeks ago. I've set full location permissions and cleared storage and cache then restarted my phone but it hasn't fixed the issue. It would be nice to have an option to manually set/override your current location as it keeps telling me I'm in a nearby city that I do not even visit.

I quite like this weather app from Google. I enjoy that I can move items around and unlike others, everything is in the correct units (km & celcius) now. The AI insights are actually useful also. The only issue is that they don't include wind chill effect (feels like) for anything other than the current temperature. So for a cold climate, the forecast is not really useful, hopefully they add that soon as I need to use another app still to see a useful forecast.

Not detecting the precise location anymore. Even with permissions for it enabled and allowing background activity and disabling battery optimisation. It now just defaults to County! which makes it pretty useless, especially as you can't select a "Manual" location as your default one, only allows you to use "Current location" as the default, which would be fine as long as it knew where I was!! Fix!

Standalone app sucks. I have to add a location to my saved locations to see the weather forecast for places I will be visiting instead of just being able to search for it like I used to. The options are unintuitive - how am I supposed to know to slide something to delete it? Add the three dot menu option or a long press instead. The map feature is pointless if it's only a precipitation forecast and it doesn't let you see temperature in nearby places, all the info is in ugly looking widgets.

Very good weather app, the only things I'd say needs work are 1. The AI weather report summary. For example "pleasant day" on a day where it is grey and raining... not very accurate. 2. Please, Please fix the app so it uses my town name rather than my council name, the fact it shows as my council name really really bugs my OCD because it should be stating my town/location and it doesn't.

I kinda like the app, it feels nice and gives a lot of information But..... BRING BACK FROGO 🐸 Also I'm one of the victims of the unit not being correct, for context I set my language as British English, I speak English but I live in mainland Europe, so we use metric, my only solution is to switch to Canadian English which I don't want to do So please let us change the units without forcing us to change our entire phone's language Other than that, Google's on the right path, 3/5*

It won't give weather for my precise location, only my county, unless I go into the app and change to view saved places. My county covers a large area and has an array of weather and temperature. Therefore, my reports are consistently inaccurate. Location services was set to allow for all the time.
